2013 40′ Intrepid 400 Cuddy

The INTREPID 400 Cuddy is the ultimate day boat with a perfect blend of comfort and power. The INTREPID 400 Cuddy combines many of the best attributes of a center console with those of an express cruiser.  The large cockpit is suitable for fishing, diving, and many other water sports.  The roomy cabin and spacious head are comfortable enough for cruising with four [4] people.

This particular INTREPID 400 Cuddy spent its entire life in a covered boathouse in brackish water until June of 2019.  With only 65-hours on the original engines and 34-hours on the generator, this INTREPID was lightly used, never slept in, and never exposed to the Florida sun.  The boat came heavily optioned from the factory including windlass, bow-thruster, all powder coated metal, custom hull color, a $25,000 upgrade package including an upsized 6.5kW generator, two 25-amp shore chords, and cockpit air-conditioning, a flawless Strataglass four-sided cockpit enclosure, electric Ultra-helm seat, in-swing dive door, fold-down transom seat, all LED lighting, underwater lighting, and a $15,000.00 canvas seat cover package.  The cabin has optional air-conditioning, maple veneer cabinetry, upgraded designer fabrics, and two TV’s.

In June of 2019, a $30,000 package of twin GARMIN 8616 MFD’s, a GARMIN Reactor 40 Autopilot, a GARMIN 315 VHF Radio, and a MERCURY Vessel View 703 were installed along with new battery chargers and batteries.  In October 2019, the original engines will be removed from the boat, disassembled and carefully repainted white by the Outboard Motor Paint Shop in Miami at a cost of $6,000.00.

This INTREPID 400 CUDDY is one of a kind and is only for the most discriminating INTREPID buyer. Maintained with an open checkbook and professionally washed and detailed twice a week since new, this boat presents in “as new” or Bristol condition.  All mechanical services are recent and up to date. 2013 40′ INTREPID 400 Cuddy

Sleek and stylish, this 2013 INTREPID 400 Cuddy offers all the enhanced accommodations you would expect in a luxury performance cruiser. From a private head with shower stall and separate master berth with queen bed and hullside windows to a forward cabin section that easily converts to a large double berth. But none of it comes at the expense of the most advanced technology and fabrication techniques that deliver an incomparably smooth, dry ride with unparalleled performance. For divers and swimmers, it’s packed with thoughtful design features like a port hullside dive door with step ladder and grab rails. Entertaining is elevated with cozy, custom seating and a stylish wet bar while serious sport fishermen will take note of the baitwells, rod holders, tank storage room where custom storage can be designed and installed, tackle boxes and raw water washdown included. 

This INTREPID 400 Cuddy has always been  kept in a secure covered fresh-water slip,  so there is no sun-bleached gelcoat or “chalky” surface corrosion, just freshly waxed and buffed to the touch and look.  There is  absolutely no cracking at any of the welded hardtops powder coated supports, the INTREPID 400  combines many of the best attributes of a center console with those of an express cruiser. The cabin has air conditioning, optional maple veneer cabinetry, and two 32″ TV’s.  In June of 2019, all new Garmin 8000 series marine electronics were installed June 2019, with New Central Processor Unit installed October 1, 2019, along with new battery chargers and batteries. The original Black bottom paint as shown in photos has been completely sanded down to factory gelcoat on November 1, 2019, with new Interlux made TRILUX 33 WHITE bottom paint applied in multiple coats.  This Best-of-the-Best INTREPID 400 CC takes the next step for a beautiful new finish and sleek look to her running in the water on plane or reflecting at still anchor.   As always. the owner only uses the best on his prized possessions with the new and longest-lasting paint available.  The “TRILux 33” WHITE [part # YBA068/1] is the best industry paint used for white to stay white with no exposure discoloration.  Benefits of this paint, is not only the excellent anti-fouling properties, but can be exposed to air on boat lifts or trailers for long periods without bottom paint product concern.
