This 12 stone pressing – French Limestone Lithograph Collectible is from an edition of 250 done in 1984 on Arches 100% cotton fibre rag museum quality paper from master French Atelier Magi, is of the large fantasy landscape “THE WATERFALL” oil painting 5’6″h x 4’6″w (in private collection, original shown here in ad) by Mark Gianassi, associate professor of art and design from the University of California, and local yacht broker and designer, boat retrofit designs, and local center console boat builder, this original oil painted in 1972, exhibited in Paris, France, as part of the San Francisco Visionary Painters Exhibition running from May 5, 1984 to September 10, 1985. Said lithograph measuring paper size 36″h x 26″w, with image size 29″h x 23″w. Mr. Gianassi, a graduate of University California – Berkeley Art Department, was one of seven reknowned artists comprising this genre of artists known as the Visionary Painters from downtown San Francisco, the Peninsula, and Marin County, embodied the movement that was Post Haight Ashbury San Francisco of visionary landscapes and dream images of the 70’s. 2. TITLE: “A BIRD IN HAND IS WORTH TWO IN THE BUSH” – ARTIST: THOM MOXLEY, ORIGINAL ALUMINUM PLATE LITHOGRAPH

This 6-Aluminum Plate Lithograph is from an edition of 250 done in 1984 on Arches 100% cotton fibre rag museum quality paper from master French Atelier Magi. This image explores the fantasy image of a woman in a very seductive pose with the sexy suggestion of the bird neck being the sexual fantasy of a man, with subtle hints of bondage with thigh high boots and wristbands, hands on her hips, the nude portrayal of the cheeks of a woman’s “behind” wrapped around the image of the “long” swan neck within her. Use your imagination and you will get what is this extremely sexy image. The original is in private collection, original done by Taos, New Mexico, artist Thomas Charles Moxley, recently in 2007 moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico where he runs a fine art painting studio, this piece painted in 1974, exhibited in the San Francisco Bay Area, as part of the San Francisco Visionary Painters Exhibition running from May 5, 1984 to September 10, 1985 at the San Jose Museum of Art. Said lithograph measuring paper size 36″h x 26″w, is a full bleed image with image size 36″h x 26″w, image is the full face of the paper size with black lithograph border as part of the image. Mr. Moxley, a graduate of the California State University Art Department, was one of two reknowned San Jose artists comprising this genre with the school of artists known as the Visionary Painters from downtown San Francisco, the Peninsula, San Jose, and Marin County, embodied the movement that was Post Haight Ashbury San Francisco of visionary landscapes and dream images of the 70’s. Original painting debuted and shown at the Graduate Showing on May 19, 1974 at the Stanford Memorial Chapel in partnership with the artwork of renowned local San Francisco artist Mark Gianassi.

Thomas is best known for his figurative mixed media paintings. He delights in adding unexpected geometric and sometimes complex figurative forms that often remain hidden from the viewer at first glance. The artist is at ease playing the jester in hopes the careful eye will find amusing and captivating rewards upon further inspection of his work. Winged creatures are among Thomas’ personal favorites and often remain in his private collection. This is one that made it out to a private collector, and this image is available to you, once these remaining graphics of this edition are gone, there are no more, the plates have been destroyed.
